Texas A&M WR Noah Thomas Makes Big Move, Commits to SEC Program.

The Texas A&M Aggies experienced one of their biggest offseason losses last week when standout wide receiver Noah Thomas decided to leave the program and enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Now, Thomas has found his new destination.

Reports from On3’s Hayes Fawcett reveal that Thomas has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs, choosing them over the Texas Longhorns and Miami Hurricanes.

In Athens, Thomas is expected to become a key contributor right away, as Georgia faced significant struggles at the wide receiver position this past season.

This move marks the end of Thomas’ career at Texas A&M, where he ranks among the program’s top receivers. His 15 career receiving touchdowns are tied for eighth in school history.

Thomas is the fifth receiver to depart from the Aggies this offseason, joining Cyrus Allen (Cincinnati), Jacob Bostick (San Diego State), and Micah Tease (Tulsa). Additionally, Moose Muhammad III is declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Despite the Aggies’ additions of receivers Mario Craver (Mississippi State), Micah Hudson (Texas Tech), and KC Concepcion (N.C. State) through the transfer portal, Thomas’ departure remains somewhat surprising. He was likely poised to be A&M’s top receiver next season after building chemistry with quarterback Marcel Reed in 2024.

Thomas finished the season with career-highs in receptions (39), receiving yards (574), and receiving touchdowns (eight), all of which led the team. In the 35-31 loss to USC in the Las Vegas Bowl, he had five catches for 29 yards and two touchdowns.
