First Offers Extended to Offensive Linemen During Florida State’s Saturday Visits

Florida State Offers Two Offensive Linemen: Matthew Parker and Tavaris Dice

Florida State made two offers to visiting prospects on Saturday. The first offer went to Matthew Parker, an offensive tackle from Flowood (Miss.) Jackson Prep. The second offer was given to Tavaris Dice, a four-star offensive tackle from Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes. Dice shared news of his offer from the Seminoles on social media.

At 6-foot-4 and 282 pounds, Dice visited FSU for the first time on Saturday morning with offensive line coach Alex Atkins and some family members. It was his first visit to FSU, and he shared his thoughts afterward, saying, “The visit went well. Coach Norvell was really enthusiastic. He told me a lot of positive things about the program. I also received an offer today, so I’m feeling really good about it.”

Dice felt honored to receive an offer from FSU, stating, “It felt great. Despite how the ACC treated them in the playoffs, the Seminoles had a good season. I see Coach Norvell making a real change with the program, and I believe it would be a good fit for me.”

He has received about 24 offers in total, with Auburn and Florida being among the top contenders for his services. Dice mentioned his close relationship with FSU offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins and the valuable advice Atkins shared with him during his visit.

Regarding FSU’s position in his recruitment, Dice sees the Seminoles as contenders and plans to return for another visit soon. He may take an official visit to Tallahassee and possibly another unofficial visit as well.

According to predictions on 967Sports.com, Auburn is the favored destination for Dice.

In addition to football, Dice also plays basketball.
