Jesse Hogan Commits to Two More Years with GWS Giants
Following a stellar start to the season and displaying some of his career-best form, Jesse Hogan has signed a contract extension with the Giants, keeping him at the club until the end of 2026.
Hogan’s recent performances, including impressive hauls against Collingwood and North Melbourne, underscore his growing impact on the team. Despite experiencing a tumultuous journey across three clubs over 11 seasons, Hogan’s contributions are now shining through, demonstrating his true potential.
Originally drafted by Melbourne in 2012, Hogan embarked on a rollercoaster journey that led him to Fremantle before finding his place at the Giants. Despite facing challenges like injuries and inconsistent form, Hogan has made a significant impact since joining the Giants, tallying 116 goals in 53 appearances.
Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to extend his contract, Hogan emphasized his enjoyment of playing at the Giants and praised the team’s tight-knit culture.
