Emery: This is something I can’t do again. Arteta: villa didn’t produce anything.
Emery claimed that winning 15 straight games at Villa Park is an incredible feat that he will never be able to duplicate in his professional life.
“I’ve never achieved this, and I won’t again in my future as a coach,” he remarked in an interview with Sky Sports. It’s incredible and very clever.
“With Manchester City and Arsenal here, this week was the hardest, but we need to strive to realize that we are competitive after it. Sheffield United presents the next obstacle—another difficult game.
“It is brilliant here at Villa Park with our supporters and how they are supporting us.”
But Emery said, “I will speak again when we are in games 30, 32, and if we are in the same position as now, then maybe I can speak about it,” rejecting the notion that Villa might fight for the championship.
“Since it is only game 16, we are not a contender right now. We need to work hard to maintain our position in [the top four]. It’s challenging.”

In contrast to their contentious loss to Newcastle earlier in the season, Arteta would not talk about the choice to disallow Havertz’s goal or the decision to not penalize Douglas Luiz for his tackle on Gabriel Jesus in the box.
When asked about the goal that Sky Sports had disallowed, the Arsenal manager responded, “I prefer not to comment,” before stating that the Jesus incident was “even clearer.”.
Arteta expressed his displeasure at his team’s wasted opportunities, adding, “It was a really good performance.” Although I felt we were the superior squad and didn’t deserve to lose, this is football.
“The only thing we failed to do today, despite creating several extremely good opportunities, was to put the ball in the net. Villa produced nothing, but the game was still lost by us.
“Villa are a good team and are currently having a great season. It is necessary to congratulate them.
