The trolling by Auburn football’s X account aimed at KeAndre Lambert-Smith is expected to serve as bulletin board material for Texas A&M, according to analysts.

The Auburn football X account’s celebration following KeAndre Lambert-Smith’s commitment to the Tigers, symbolized by a repost of Sammie Coates’ play against De’Vante Harris in a 2013 victory over Texas A&M, is seen by Gig Em Gazette’s Graham Harmon as potential motivation for TAMU in the upcoming 2024 season.

Harmon noted the significance of the Aggies-Tigers matchup later in the season, highlighting A&M’s recent success against Auburn but acknowledging the potential for the post to fuel motivation for the game.

Despite Lambert-Smith’s decision, Texas A&M boasts the No. 2-ranked transfer class under new head coach Mike Elko, with a strengthened defense featuring several standout corners and defensive linemen.

Regarding Lambert-Smith’s choice, Auburn may offer a more stable quarterback situation with Payton Thorne showing promise and questions surrounding Conner Weigman’s foot injury.

As part of Auburn’s “Freeze Five” receiving group, Lambert-Smith, hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, could contribute significantly alongside Cam Coleman. Thorne is expected to improve after a challenging 2023 season, providing ample opportunity for Lambert-Smith to showcase his talents.
