The worries of parenthood don’t discriminate, as Patrick and Brittany Mahomes recently experienced. In a recent Instagram Stories post, the couple revealed that one of their children fell ill.

Patrick and Brittany, who have been together since high school and married in 2022, are parents to Sterling Skye and Patrick Jr., also known as “Bronze.” On February 20, Sterling turned three, and the Mahomes celebrated lavishly, never anticipating the health scare that would follow just over two months later.

In the photo shared on Instagram Stories, Brittany disclosed that Sterling had been sick for four days with a stubborn stomach virus. The image showed Sterling asleep on her mother’s lap, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from followers.

Thankfully, children often bounce back quickly. Shortly after sharing Sterling’s condition, Brittany posted new photos of them swimming, indicating her daughter’s speedy recovery.
