Bobcats Embark on Tough Journey to Face…

**SAN MARCOS, Texas** – Texas State heads into the final week of the regular season with a four-game road trip, starting with a matchup against McNeese on Tuesday at Joe Miller Ballpark, with the first pitch set for 6 p.m.

**ABOUT TEXAS STATE**
The Bobcats recently secured a series victory over then 21st-ranked Troy, marking their fourth series win over a ranked opponent in program history and the first in the last three seasons. They have an 8-5 record in midweek games, including 3-2 on the road.

Ryne Farber leads the team with a .352 batting average, 35 runs scored, 25 RBIs, and 24 walks, while striking out only seven times. Kameron Weil boasts a .326 average, nine steals, and 25 runs scored.

Aaron Lugo leads Texas State with 56 hits, 53 runs, 11 steals, 10 home runs, and 42 RBIs. Chase Mora has a team-high 47 RBIs, and Daylan Pena has driven in 40 runs.

Starting on the mound will be Calen Graham, who holds a 7.90 ERA with seven strikeouts in 13.2 innings. He has appeared in 10 games, making two previous midweek starts.

**ABOUT MCNEESE**
The Cowboys are coming off a series win at home against HCU. They have an 8-5 record in midweek games, including 6-2 at home, and are 20-10 at Joe Miller Ballpark this season.

Cooper Hext leads McNeese with a .312 average, 44 runs, 19 stolen bases, and seven triples. He has driven in 30 runs and is tied with three other players for the team lead with six home runs, including Chase Keeton (.236 AVG, 29 RBI), Simon Larranaga (.324 AVG, 18 RBI), and Conner Westernberg (.307 AVG, 37 RBI).

Cameron LeJeune leads the team with five saves, a 6-2 record, a staff-best 4.11 ERA, and 45 strikeouts in 61.1 innings over 19 games, including seven starts. Brock Barthelemy (3-0, 6.86 ERA) and Kainin Morrow (3-2, 5.50 ERA, 32 K) have each earned two saves.

**SERIES VS. THE COWBOYS**
Texas State leads the all-time series 43-34, winning the last two meetings in 2019 in Lake Charles. The Bobcats are 4-1 against McNeese in the last five contests since leaving the Southland Conference and hold a 20-18 record when playing on the road against the Cowboys, winning seven of the last nine such matchups.
