Milan Lucic was a menacing and intimidating player in the National Hockey League for many years, especially with the Boston Bruins. Recently, more details have emerged about the case. Lucic’s wife, Brittany Lucic, revealed that he strangled her in front of their children.

Yes, you read that correctly. Unfortunately, Milan Lucic allegedly attacked his wife after she noticed a friend’s name on his phone. When she questioned him, Lucic allegedly jumped on her to take the phone away. Brittany stumbled into a chair, and Lucic attempted to strangle her—all in front of their children and several friends.

In April, Brittany filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Ultimately, Lucic did not go to trial because his wife refused to testify, but he is unlikely to return to the NHL.

He played just four games this season with the Bruins, recording two assists.
