Baltimore has been seeking to strengthen their bullpen, and Vieira might be their solution. In the 2024 season, Vieira has pitched 22.1 innings over 16 games, posting a 5.64 ERA and a 1.701 WHIP.oth teams.

The Orioles acquired right-handed pitchers Thyago Vieira and minor leaguer Aneuris Rodriguez. In return, the Brewers received minor league right-handed pitcher Garrett Stallings.

Unless a change of scenery brings improvement, Vieira is currently seen as a gamble. However, the Baltimore coaching staff will likely attempt to make adjustments to unlock his potential.

Rodriguez, a 20-year-old in his first year of professional baseball in the United States, has been assigned to the Florida Complex League for further development. Like Vieira, he is considered a long-term prospect with potential, but he is still years away from a possible MLB debut.

The Orioles sent 26-year-old Stallings to Milwaukee. Currently at the Triple-A level, Stallings has a 5.52 ERA over 101.0 innings and is not ranked among the top 30 prospects.
