Sourav Ganguly commends Pakistan bowler who was always dependable, saying that he bowled 25–30 overs per day.

Legendary Pakistani left-arm seamer Wasim Akram used to bowl between 25 and 30 overs a day, according to former India captain Sourav Ganguly.

With a combined total of 916 wickets in Tests and ODIs, Wasim is maybe the greatest fast bowler Pakistan has ever produced.

Ganguly observed that in order to excel and accomplish amazing achievements at the greatest level, players today need to emulate Wasim.

He was cited by Geo Super as saying, “Players should be like Wasim Akram, who could bowl 25-30 overs in a day.”

The Pakistani side recently competed in the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup. They lost to South Africa, Australia, India, and Afghanistan after winning their opening matches against the Netherlands and Sri Lanka.
