Four-star EDGE to visit Michigan this weekend

Michigan will welcome numerous prospects to campus this summer for official visits, and another target has confirmed his trip to Ann Arbor.

Alpharetta (Ga.) 2025 four-star EDGE Julius Holly has confirmed with The Michigan Insider that he will visit Michigan this weekend.

“I’ve never been up to Michigan before, so I’m looking forward to seeing their facilities and meeting the rest of the coaching staff,” Holly told The Michigan Insider.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder holds 33 scholarship offers, including one from the Wolverines. Michigan extended the offer in May, which piqued his interest.

“I’m definitely interested considering they have one of, if not the best engineering programs in college football,” Holly told TMI after landing the offer. “That’s what I want to major in.”

Regarding their defense, he added: “I thought they looked amazing and had one of the best defensive lines in the nation, probably second to none.”

He has also started forming a bond with new defensive line coach Lou Esposito. “Yeah, I think he’s a really cool guy, good coach.”

In addition to Michigan, Holly has locked in official visits to Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M for the following weekends. He plans to make his commitment decision sometime in July or early August.

Currently, there are no 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for Holly. He is ranked as the No. 354 overall prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 25 EDGE rusher in the nation, and the No. 41 player in Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
