Reports suggest his body was discovered at a Hattiesburg apartment complex, although these details remain unconfirmed. The news of Daniels’ untimely demise has circulated widely across various social media platforms on Wednesday morning.
During his tenure at Southern Miss, Daniels emerged as a key player, sharing the team lead in interceptions last season with three, alongside four pass breakups. Anticipated to be a cornerstone for the Golden Eagles this upcoming fall, Daniels was widely regarded as a promising talent with potential NFL prospects.
Originally from George County (Miss.) High School, Daniels made headlines by switching his commitment from Mississippi State to Ole Miss on National Signing Day in 2020.
