Auburn had a major recruiting weekend with over 10 official visitors on the Plains. Among them was 4-star safety Eric Winters, who committed to the program after his visit. Winters, from Enterprise, Alabama, is ranked as the #7 safety in the 2025 recruiting class and the #5 prospect in the state.
Despite interest from Georgia and Miami, the family atmosphere and Charles Kelly’s reputation made Auburn his top choice.
With Winters’ commitment, Auburn now has four of the top 10 players in Alabama, boosting their recruiting class to #6 nationally.
Auburn baseball also made strides this weekend by adding two transfers, brothers Sam and Andrew Dutton from Southside, Alabama. Pitcher Sam Dutton joins from LSU, where he made 57 appearances over three years, while infielder Andrew Dutton transfers from Birmingham-Southern after a standout season.
