BREAKING NEWS: Arlington Renegades’ Top Player Sets NFL Sights Ablaze with Stellar Return Skills

Since the conclusion of the UFL season, which culminated in a dominant 25-0 victory by the Birmingham Stallions over the San Antonio Brahmas in the championship game, numerous players from across the league have been actively pursued by NFL teams and have secured new contracts. Despite the Arlington Renegades experiencing a disappointing season overall, their special teams unit has emerged as a beacon of interest for NFL scouts and executives.

One standout from the Renegades attracting attention is Juwan Manigo, as reported by AtoZSports.com. Manigo, a dynamic return specialist, has been in communication with both the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans. His performance throughout the UFL season was notable, particularly in kickoff returns where he ranked second in the league with an impressive 954 yards.

Notably, he executed a 45-yard return, which stood as the sixth-longest of the season. In addition to his prowess in special teams, Manigo showcased versatility by contributing 32 yards receiving on six catches over the span of 10 games.

Manigo’s journey to the UFL was preceded by a successful stint in the LFA league in Mexico, where he played for the Caudillos. His standout season in 2022 earned him recognition as the league’s MVP, tallying an impressive 2,174 all-purpose yards and contributing 20 touchdowns in total. His stellar performance continued into subsequent seasons, notably amassing 1,015 yards and nine touchdowns in the latest campaign.

The Arlington Renegades have seen another of their players ascend to the NFL ranks, with defensive lineman Jalen Redmond securing a spot with the Minnesota Vikings. Redmond’s transition underscores the UFL’s role as a breeding ground for NFL talent, with a total of 11 players from the league already making the leap to NFL rosters during this offseason alone.

As anticipation builds towards the start of NFL training camps next month, these signings highlight the UFL’s increasing significance as a pathway for players aiming to establish themselves in professional football’s highest echelons.
