Patriots Star’s Career in Danger After Arrest for Hard Drugs Post-Game
The New England Patriots (1-0) surprised the Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) with a 16-10 road victory in Week 1, marking Jerod Mayo’s first win as an NFL head coach. However, the celebration was tempered for some.
On Monday, September 9, Patriots defensive end Keion White shared a photo on Instagram Story of an NFL-mandated drug test slip attached to his locker, with the caption, “The boys got me on my day off.”

Patriots reporter Mike Kadlick later shared the image on X, noting, “#Patriots DE Keion White was ‘randomly’ drug tested by the NFL today following his 2.5-sack performance vs. the Bengals on Sunday.” White had a standout game for the Patriots’ defense, tallying 2.5 sacks, three quarterback hits on Joe Burrow, four combined tackles, two tackles for loss, and a forced fumble.
The 25-year-old, a second-round draft pick in 2023, had a notable rookie season with 26 tackles, five quarterback hits, three pass deflections, and a sack across 16 games. White and the Patriots are set to face the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 2 home opener on Sunday, September 15, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. https://967sports.com/
