Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb has been confirmed.

**CLEVELAND** — The Cleveland Browns have had a challenging start to their season, currently holding a 1-3 record after the first four games. However, there’s good news on the horizon as fan favorite and star running back Nick Chubb is making significant progress toward his return to the field.

Chubb began the season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list while recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him in Week 2 of last year. Since undergoing surgery to repair his MCL and ACL, he has made notable strides, participating in training camp sprints and lifting heavy weights in the training room, showcasing his dedication.

On Wednesday, Chubb is anticipated to take another step forward in his recovery.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski stated that he expects Chubb to return to practice on Wednesday.

“He’s working very hard. The natural progression is for him to start practicing,” Stefanski noted. “He’s ready to do that, and then we’ll see how it goes from there.”

By opening Chubb’s practice window, the Browns have given themselves a 21-day timeframe to return him to the active roster. If he is unable to play within that period, he will revert to the PUP list for the remainder of the season.

This move indicates that Chubb could be less than a month away from returning to action, which is encouraging for a team looking for a boost after a difficult start.

While Chubb is undoubtedly eager to get back on the field, he has remained focused and composed, showing little emotion during the process.

“You don’t get much from Nick. He’s very workmanlike,” Stefanski commented. “It’s the next step for him. I’ve seen him in the building very early in the morning, with an attitude that he’s just clocking in, preparing for whenever he’s ready. But not a lot of emotion from Nick.”

Stefanski also mentioned that running back Nyheim Hines, who has been recovering from his own knee injury and is on the PUP list, may return to practice as soon as this week.
