Julius Randle, after giving his “blood, sweat, and tears” for the Knicks, was surprised by the trade to the Timberwolves. However, he quickly embraced his new team, describing it as a “breath of fresh air.”

He was also thrilled to reunite with Timberwolves coach Chris Finch, who coached him in New Orleans in 2018-19. Randle praised Finch for simplifying his game and helping him become a more versatile player.

Meanwhile, DiVincenzo, who played just one season with the Knicks and was beloved by fans, expressed gratitude for his time in New York but is eager to contribute to Minnesota.

Randle reassured fans that his surgically repaired shoulder is healthy and hinted at his desire to stay with the Timberwolves beyond this season.
