F1 driver forecasts unexpected world championship bid

Although Max Verstappen hasn’t faced many serious title challenges in recent seasons, an unexpected Formula One talent thinks he has what it takes to unseat the Dutchman from his position.

Max Verstappen hasn’t faced a strong title challenge in recent seasons, but one unexpected F1 star believes he has what it takes to one day dethrone the Dutchman.

Despite periods of brilliance, such as his victory in Hungary and podium place in Monaco with Alpine, Ocon has mainly remained in the midfield.

Interestingly, his professional path parallels that of both Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, who competed together from karting to Formula 3.

Although Ocon won the Formula 3 championship as Verstappen began his single-seater career, the Frenchman stated a desire to compete with his former opponents in an exclusive interview with RacingNews365.

My time shall come, Ocon.
“It’s a pain, for sure,” Ocon admitted. “But I’m still working as if we’re going for wins and podiums every weekend.”

“You have to re-adjust your goal, and mine is to get the most out of the car every race weekend.”

“I believe that if I work hard and perform well on the track, my time will come.” One day, I’ll have a car in which to fight for championships and wins.

“I’m looking forward to that.”
