Almirón initially joined Newcastle in January 2019 for a then-club-record fee and became a key figure on Tyneside. Over six seasons, he made 223 appearances and scored 30 goals, earning a reputation for his relentless work rate and attacking flair.
The 30-year-old played a crucial role in Newcastle’s resurgence, helping the club reach the Carabao Cup final and secure a top-four Premier League finish in the 2022/23 season.
