The Melbourne Storm might face another loss shortly after completing a player swap with the Wests Tigers, which resulted in the departure of Justin Olam.

According to Love Rugby League, Melbourne Storm’s forward, Aaron Pene, is currently being offered to several overseas clubs as the 2024 season approaches.

Reports suggest that clubs in the Super League and RFL Championship are expressing interest, with potential destinations including the London Broncos, Salford Red Devils, Warrington Wolves, or the well-financed Featherstone Rovers.

Set to be out of contract at the end of the current year, Pene has accumulated 32 NRL appearances, with eight of them occurring in the last season.
