Kansas State football just changed its trajectory in a massive way.
In a historic recruiting win, the Wildcats have landed Dakorien Moore, the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2025 class. The elite wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas chose Kansas State over blue-blood programs like Texas, LSU, and Alabama — a decision that sent shockwaves through the college football world.
The Star That Everyone Wanted
Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 175 pounds, Moore isn’t just fast — he’s a nightmare for defenses. During his junior season, he hauled in 71 receptions for 1,523 yards and 18 touchdowns, leading Duncanville to back-to-back Texas 6A-DI state championships. He’s also a standout in track and field, anchoring his school’s state-winning 4×200 relay team.
His commitment marks a major shift for Kansas State, proving the program can now compete on the national stage for the sport’s top-tier talent.

Stacking Stars: Linkon Cure Joins the Class
Moore isn’t coming alone. Kansas State also secured a commitment from five-star tight end Linkon Cure, a 6-foot-6 playmaker out of Goodland, Kansas. Cure turned down offers from Oregon, Texas A&M, and Kansas to stay in-state, following up a stellar junior season in which he racked up 946 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.
Wildcats Making a Statement
Together, Moore and Cure headline one of the most impressive recruiting classes in Kansas State history — and perhaps the beginning of a new era of dominance in Manhattan.
With these additions, head coach Chris Klieman and his staff are not just building a team — they’re building a national contender.
