The caption accompanying the photos, “Me, You & Marley Forever & Ever,” reflects the deep connection between McCarthy and Kuropas, who have been together since their high school days in the Chicago suburbs.
Their relationship gained attention after a controversial incident involving Kuropas and McCarthy’s father, Jim, during Michigan’s Fiesta Bowl loss to TCU at the end of the 2022 season. Despite the awkward moment captured on camera, the couple chose not to publicly address the controversy.
