Kostyuk highlighted the impact of an easy draw in a major, citing Emma Raducanu’s success at the 2021 US Open as an example. The surprising defeat of Iga Swiatek by Linda Noskova in the third round of the Australian Open has generated significant discussion within the tennis community.

Criticism and questions about Swiatek’s playing style have surfaced, with tennis legend Martina Navratilova sharing her insights. Naomi Osaka’s return to the Australian Open was brief, as she was eliminated in the first round. Despite her early exit, Osaka is making the most of her time in Australia, engaging in pickleball matches with Nick Kyrgios and Frances Tiafoe.

Novak Djokovic faced a challenging first-round match against Dino Prizmic at the Australian Open, enduring over four hours of play before securing victory in four sets. The second round against Alexei Popyrin also proved to be a tough battle, requiring four sets for Djokovic to advance.

In the third round, Djokovic showcased a superior performance, defeating Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets. However, it was in the fourth round against Adrian Mannarino that Djokovic truly dominated, securing a commanding 6-0, 6-0, 6-3 victory.

Remarkably, at 36 years old, Djokovic continues to elevate his game with each passing round, a feat not easily accomplished. His dedication to fitness hasn’t gone unnoticed, particularly by his wife, Jelena, who took to Instagram to commend him after a video of his workout was shared.
