Breaking news: Toronto Blue Jays signed Yankees Pitcher.

A former member of the New York Yankees, Domingo Germán, who is currently a free agent, might sign with a rival team in the American League East.

Reports suggest that the Toronto Blue Jays are actively pursuing Germán, along with the Baltimore Orioles. According to Mark Sanchez of the New York Post, Germán, who is seeking his next opportunity in Major League Baseball, is in talks with six teams, including the Blue Jays.

While the New York Mets have also engaged with Germán’s camp, they are considered the least likely to secure a deal. Despite interest from multiple teams, there is currently no imminent agreement, as Germán, who had a season with both highs and lows, aims for a return to the MLB after addressing off-the-field issues.

With a history of on-field flashes and a 4.56 ERA in 20 appearances last season, Germán left the Yankees early for alcohol abuse treatment. The 31-year-old pitcher appears to be exploring options, and the Blue Jays, in need of starting pitching, could be a potential destination for him as he seeks another chance in the big leagues. The timing of his potential signing remains uncertain.
