James Harmes, a recent Western Bulldogs recruit, says that even though he still has affection for his former team, Melbourne, he ultimately thinks that moving on was the best decision.
Harmes, who struggled with injuries and confidence difficulties all season, was moved at the end of the 2023 season.
After serving in the red and blue for nine years, he explained to 3AW why he decided to start again.
“I thought it was time for me to start over, even though I still love Melbourne and all those boys.”
