Kansas Targets Future Talent: Bryson Williams, 3-Star Recruit, Reflects on Jayhawks Offer and Recruitment Outlook for 2025 Class

With the class of 2024 now concluded, Kansas has shifted its focus towards strengthening the 2025 recruiting class this month. Numerous offers have been extended in recent weeks, including one to a highly skilled athlete from Michigan. Bryson Williams, a 6’2″, 200-pound 3-star prospect from St. Mary’s High School in Orchard Lake, Michigan, possesses versatility that could benefit the Jayhawks on both offense and defense. He recently shared his thoughts on the offer from Kansas with Blue Wings Rising.

“This offer from Kansas holds significant meaning for me as it presents an opportunity to elevate my game to the next level, which is substantial. Additionally, knowing some individuals there adds to the appeal,” expressed Williams.

Discussing his interaction with the coaching staff, Williams elaborated, “Coach Taiwo Onatolu and I had a positive conversation regarding the offer. Although I haven’t engaged with the staff extensively, we’ve communicated through text. I’m keen on visiting to further acquaint myself with them.”

Delving into Kansas’s distinctiveness, Williams remarked, “Kansas stands out due to its strong academic programs, which are paramount to me. Regarding football, I believe in my versatility and ability to contribute on either side of the ball, making an impact for a program like Kansas.”

Regarding his top school choices and recruitment status, Williams noted, “At the moment, I consider every school to be a top contender in my recruitment, each offering unique prospects.”

Confirming his intention to visit, Williams stated, “I’m definitely planning to visit soon, likely during spring ball. I’m eager to explore the program further and discover what Kansas has to offer.”
