Declan Casey’s injury status has been updated.

Declan Casey received a positive injury update after being carried off the field during Wests Tigers’ victory over the Warriors.

The 24-year-old, playing his debut game for the Tigers, was knocked out by a high tackle from Warriors’ Zyon Maiu’u but scans have revealed no serious injury. Casey watched the remainder of the match from the hospital and is set to fly back home with the team.

Club medical staff will continue to monitor his condition in the coming days. Additionally, Solomona Faataape received stitches above his left eye for a head knock, and Josh Feledy sustained a minor shoulder injury during the game.
