

If future generations are to succeed in Formula 1, Fernando Alonso has emphasized how crucial it is that the sport promote clean driving.
On the glittering night of the FIA gala in Baku, Azerbaijan, when awards were given to Alonso in addition to Max Verstappen and winners of other racing classes.
F1 fans voted for their favorite overtake of the year prior to the ceremony, and Alonso’s thrilling fight with Sergio Perez during the Brazilian Grand Prix ultimately won him the coveted ‘Action of the Year’ title.
Alonso: No vehicles made contact
Even though he was not present at the event in Baku, Alonso used a video message to express his appreciation for the award and his wishes for the future of Formula One.
“Two [drivers] must work together to win any battle on the track,” he declared.
“I believe that this should serve as an example for both the current and upcoming generations, emphasizing the need to encourage safe driving that prevents any collisions between vehicles.
“I hope to see you next year with more action on the track. I’d also like to thank the FIA and all of the fans.”
