The New England Patriots saw one of their cornerbacks return to practice on Thursday, but they were also missing a key special teamer.
Jaylinn Hawkins, who has played 58% of the team’s defensive snaps this season, was absent due to an illness. Meanwhile, Marcus Jones, who had also been dealing with an illness, returned to practice after missing Wednesday’s session.
Wide receiver Javon Baker missed a second consecutive day as he remains in the NFL‘s concussion protocol. Defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy, a new addition to the injury report, sat out practice with a foot injury.
