Two men are accused of the Patriots fan’s death following

At Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots were playing the Miami Dolphins, Dale Mooney, 53, passed away.

Regarding a brawl that transpired during a New England Patriots game and claimed a man’s life, two guys have been prosecuted.

According to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, John Vieira, 59, and Justin Mitchell, 39, of Warwick, Rhode Island, have been charged with assault, battery, and disorderly conduct.

On September 17, as the Patriots were playing the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, the two males got into an altercation with Dale Mooney, 53, according to the authorities.

When Mooney passed out during the altercation, the Officer of the Chief Medical Examiner stated that he appeared to have a medical problem rather than a traumatic injury.

This meant that the guys would face charges, but according to the DA’s office, there was not enough evidence to charge them with homicide.

On January 19th, Mr. Viera and on January 29th, Mr. Mitchell are scheduled to appear in court.

Officials from Gillette Stadium expressed their “heartbreak” at Mooney’s demise, describing him as a lifetime Patriots supporter who had owned a season ticket for thirty years.

They released a statement saying, “We offer our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to Dale’s family and to all those who are mourning his loss.”
