Bengals to take on the struggling Steelers with vigor
Pittsburgh (AP) — Well, that season was never really finished for the Cincinnati Bengals after Joe Burrow tore a ligament in his right wrist last month.
Not with Jake Browning, the backup quarterback, becoming better every week. Not when defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo team consistently produces game-changing interceptions. Not with Zac Taylor’s club following his advise to improve regardless of who is starting the season.
Taylor stated, “We’ve talked a lot about how we have to be at our best in December and January.”
“Looking back over the past few years, we’ve made every effort to be at our best right now, whether it be during the regular season, training camp, or offseason. We’ve been doing fairly well these past three weeks.
The Bengals (8-6), who have won three in a row, will go to Pittsburgh (7-7) on Sunday in an attempt to solidify their postseason place while almost eliminating the Steelers’ prospects.
Naturally, when Browning and the Bengals enter Acrisure Stadium, nothing they’ve done recently will matter.
We did well in the last few games, but I can assure you that the Pittsburgh Steelers don’t care,” he remarked.
Perhaps due to the much more serious issues facing the Steelers, who have lost three in a row.
Even with the departure of offensive coordinator Matt Canada, the offense remains disorganized. After surgery on his right ankle,
. quarterback Kenny Pickett will miss his third consecutive game. Because of an injury or suspension, the defense is without its top three safeties.

You should keep your lips shut and recognize that failing to execute your job successfully and losing also draws attention of its own, Tomlin advised. And that’s generally attention befitting a vulture.
The vultures will only grow in number if the Steelers are unable to rally themselves very quickly.
Mason Rudolph, a veteran backup quarterback for the Steelers, will replace Pickett and make his first start in over two years after Tomlin decided to bench Mitch Trubisky, who struggled in the team’s losses to the Cardinals, Colts, and Patriots.
Despite having one of the team’s longest contracts at 28, Rudolph has been a third-string player for the past two seasons. His teammates value his professionalism.
, but Rudolph brushed down the notion that he is a role model of any kind.
Since sustaining the injury that ended his season on November 16 against the Ravens, Burrow has not vanished.
The franchise quarterback wore a headset on the sidelines throughout last week’s victory against Minnesota, providing Taylor and the coaching staff with play-calling feedback when he thought it was appropriate.
Taylor stated, “Burrow was talking on the headset.” He stated, “I just never know how much to say,” and I responded, “I’ll tell you when to shut up, trust me,” as we were messaging that evening.
“I don’t mind telling people to stop talking on their headsets, but once more, having guys like that on the sidelines is really helpful,” he stated. They have a distinct perspective on things than we have.
