Cleveland Browns Elijah Moore has been discharged from the hospital.

The Cleveland Browns receiver Elijah Moore was discharged from the hospital after he fell on his face during their victory over the Jets, leaving him trembling on the ground.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore was discharged from the hospital on Friday after an incident that saw him twitch involuntarily on the ground, leading to his exclusion from Thursday night’s game against the Jets due to a concussion.

During Thursday night’s game, Moore appeared to fall face down after a tackle by Jets player No. 57 C. J. Mosley with just under two minutes remaining in the second quarter. A portion of the turf from the field was visible on Moore’s face, and as he lay on his back, his arms and hands appeared to twitch unexpectedly. Concerned teammates signaled for trainers to come onto the field, while Mosley carefully navigated around his downed opponent.

Although the 23-year-old was later ruled out of the game due to a concussion, he was able to walk back to the locker room.

Elijah Moore spent Thursday night in the hospital, but Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has confirmed that he is now back at home. Moore is currently in the concussion protocol, and Stefanski mentioned, “He’s doing better. Those are always scary.”

The incident raised concerns among watching doctors, with Dr. Evan Jefferies, a California-based doctor of physical therapy, stating, “Unfortunately, those are involuntary movements from a brain injury for Elijah Moore.” Another physical therapy doctor, Jeff Mueller, added, “Involuntary limb movement occurs when there’s disruption between the brain and the muscles. Every concussion is different but could be a multi-week absence for Moore.” A prolonged absence for Moore would be a significant setback as the playoffs approach.
