The Miami Dolphins have elevated Ingram.

In Miami Gardens, Florida, the Miami Dolphins have officially promoted linebacker Melvin Ingram to the active roster ahead of tomorrow’s game. Ingram rejoined the Dolphins on December 14, 2023, initially signing with the practice squad. Making his season debut last week in the victory against Dallas, Ingram brings an impressive track record, boasting three Pro Bowl selections (2017-19) and a career spanning 146 games with 106 starts.

Throughout his 12th NFL season, he has contributed to various teams, including the L.A./San Diego Chargers (2012-20), Pittsburgh (2021), Kansas City (2021), and Miami (2022-23). In the 2022 season with the Dolphins, Ingram played in all 17 games, securing three starts and accumulating 22 tackles, 6.0 sacks, one pass defensed, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. Originally selected as the 18th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Chargers, Ingram had a notable collegiate career at South Carolina.
