Under Kirby Smart, the Georgia Bulldogs have won two national titles, and tight end Brock Bowers has played a key role in both of them. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior from Napa, California, recently revealed his thoughts on the 2024 NFL Draft.

In terms of NFL Draft news, the Bulldogs have had a hectic offseason. Kendall Milton, a running back, announced his choice on Monday. A standout offensive lineman for Coach Kirby Smart’s club has also declared for the Draft.

Bowers Declares Pro Intentions

Bowers, a Georgia football tight end, has declared that he will forego his senior season and enter the NFL Draft, which will be held this April in downtown Detroit.

The tight end made the decision after missing the Orange Bowl against Florida State due to injuries. Despite being without Bowers, quarterback Carson Beck passed for nearly 200 yards in a 63-3 victory over the Seminoles.

Bowers left an illustrious legacy with the Bulldogs.

In a 2022 College Football Playoff matchup against Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines, he recorded five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. In the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship, he had four catches for 36 yards and a touchdown against the Alabama Crimson Tide and Coach Nick Saban.
