Announcement: The Broncos are poised to initiate the initial of potentially numerous quarterback changes.

The Denver Broncos are uncertain about their starting quarterback for the 2024 season, but they have a clear plan for their backup options. Jarrett Stidham, who served as the team’s backup throughout the year, is closing out the season as the starter due to a contractual clause involving Russell Wilson. While Stidham may currently hold the starting position, he appears to view this situation as improbable for the long term. Looking beyond Stidham, the next in line is Ben DiNucci.

Ben DiNucci...

According to DiNucci, “Sean is very hands-on with the quarterbacks, unlike anything I’ve been around before for a head coach.” He highlights how, before every rep, there’s active communication, with valuable insights or strategic advice being shared. DiNucci appreciates the hands-on approach, noting that Sean’s extensive experience and successful track record in coaching quarterbacks speak for themselves.

DiNucci’s NFL experience includes playing for the Dallas Cowboys from 2020-21, where he had one start in 2020. Initially a seventh-round pick for the Cowboys from James Madison, he was with the XFL’s Seattle Sea Dragons before joining the Broncos.

During the preseason with the Broncos, DiNucci showcased his skills in three games, completing 21-of-31 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns with zero turnovers.

While it’s confirmed that both Stidham and DiNucci will be returning, the question remains open: Will they secure starting positions, or will the Broncos opt for another significant move in the dynamic quarterback position?
