Seattle Seahawks are to announce their next head coach, according to an insider..

Five potential coaches have been scheduled for second interviews with the Seahawks, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. These are the names:

 

Ejiro Evero, defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, 

DC for the Las Vegas Raiders Patrick Graham 

 Mike Kafka, the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants

 

 Los Angeles Rams DC DC’s Raheem Morris y

Dallas Cowboys Dan Quinn

 

But these kinds of reports can’t really give the whole story. The Seahawks should ask to speak with assistant coaches from other NFL clubs, but not free agents or candidates employed by collegiate athletic departments. Additionally, they have expressed interest in other assistant coaches whose teams were either still playing on Sunday (Detroit Lions OC Ben Johnson) or had just been eliminated from the playoffs (Houston Texans OC Bobby Slowik).

In his social media report, Pelissero stated that “there likely will be others” added to Seattle’s list of second interviews and that general manager John Schneider’s quest for the Seahawks is

ESPN’s Adam Schefter stated that Slowik had three interviews scheduled for Sunday, including one with the Seahawks, suggesting that the team had at least one first interview this weekend.
