Georgia has begun its winter training regimen in anticipation of the 2024 season.

On Monday, the Georgia football account released a simple video that featured the team participating in conditioning workouts for the offseason.

Georgia is aware that the season will be challenging since the Bulldogs have a more demanding schedule. The Bulldogs play Tennessee, Clemson, and Auburn in addition to road trips to Kentucky, Alabama, Texas, and Ole Miss.

With the College Football Playoffs extending in 2024, the Bulldogs may potentially have to play on a lengthier schedule. Next year, twelve teams will qualify for the playoffs. Should Georgia lose in the SEC title game, the Bulldogs might have to play up to 16 games.

The date of the 2025 National Championship is scheduled for January 20, 2025. Atlanta is the site of the game.

Head coach Kirby Smart doesn’t expect to make much changes to the offseason routine despite the team playing a more demanding and extended schedule the following season.

“Not much will change during our offseason, though it might the next year. The current task facing college coaches is significantly more intense, Smart stated in a recent 92.9 The Game radio interview. If you play longer and it starts to resemble an NFL model without spring practices, do you do away with them? thus you’ll begin lifting weights and working out much later. We won’t be changing our approach to the season much because you still need to make it through X number of weeks.

“There is still a wait between the championship games and the first-round match.” However, you will play for a longer period of time than before and there are undoubtedly more games for you. With teams having rosters already severely depleted by transfers and other events, depth will be crucial to their postseason campaigns.

Although Georgia has not officially disclosed the date of their spring practice, it usually begins in the second full week of March. A date has not yet been announced for G-Day, although it is typically held in the middle of April. It is important to remember that the transfer site is active from April 16 to April 29.

Following a season in which they won a national championship, the Bulldogs finished 13-1 last season. Georgia defeated Florida State in the Orange Bowl on December 30 to round out the regular season.
