After been chosen by the Guardians for assignment in August of last year, Noah Syndergaard finds himself in a difficult situation. About fifteen MLB organizations observed his throwing session this week, and according to John Heyman of the NY Post, the Pittsburgh Pirates are apparently interested in the flamethrower.
Reliever Aroldis Chapman was signed by the Pirates earlier this week to a one-year contract worth slightly over $10 million.
