Miami Dolphins Interview Brandon Staley, Consider Bobby Babich for Defensive Coordinator Role
The Miami Dolphins are seeking an interview with Bobby Babich, the linebacker coach for the Buffalo Bills, in order to fill the post of defensive coordinator.
As per a recent report from Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins are set to interview former Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley over the weekend as they seek to fill their vacant defensive coordinator position.
Adding to the list of candidates, the Dolphins have reached out to Buffalo Bills linebackers coach Bobby Babich for an interview, as reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Babich, who is only 40 years old, has garnered interest from the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers this offseason.
Having joined the Bills in 2017, Babich transitioned to his current role as linebackers coach ahead of the 2022 season after previously working with their safety group.
The Dolphins seem to be conducting an extensive search for their defensive coordinator, although it is still early in the process. Stay tuned for updates as more candidates emerge.
