The Falcons reveal the inclusion of various individuals in Raheem Morris’ coaching team.
The Falcons made several announcements regarding the coaching staff of head coach Raheem Morris on Wednesday. Among the confirmations, it was revealed that assistant head coach/defense Jerry Gray will retain his position from Arthur Smith’s staff. Additionally, T.J. Yates will continue with the team but will transition from the role of wide receivers coach to quarterbacks coach.
The team also confirmed the continuity of offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford, running backs coach Michael Pitre, senior defensive assistant Dave Huxtable, director of coaching operations Sarah Hogan, and coaching operations assistant Donovan Ellison. Ledford will now take on the additional responsibility of being the run game coordinator.
In terms of new additions, the Falcons have brought in defensive line coach Jay Rodgers and chief of staff Steve Scarnecchia. Rodgers previously served as the Chargers’ defensive run game coordinator and defensive line coach in the last season, while Scarnecchia held the same title with the Jets.
