Taylor Swift is reportedly not allowed to attend the Super Bowl 58 parade with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Today, the Kansas City Chiefs will hold a parade to celebrate their Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The event is expected to attract thousands of fans eager to join in the festivities and honor the team’s third Super Bowl win in the last five seasons. However, in an effort to manage the crowd, the city of Kansas City has taken a significant measure.
It’s widely known that Chiefs tight end is romantically involved with the pop star Taylor Swift. Throughout the NFL season, Swift’s presence at Chiefs games, whether at home or away, drew larger crowds and contributed to the league generating an additional $331 million in revenue. Additionally, it boosted viewership among female and teenage demographics.
Worried that Taylor Swift’s potential attendance might attract a larger crowd than the city can manage on Wednesday, which coincides with Valentine’s Day, Kansas City’s city manager reportedly requested that Swift’s team advise her not to appear.
