Insiders Oddsmakers Reveal Russell Wilson’s Next NFL Landing Spot
As the 2024 NFL offseason begins and Russell Wilson’s departure from the Denver Broncos looms, speculation about his next destination is heating up. Many teams are being considered as potential landing spots for the 36-year-old quarterback, but one team has emerged as a clear frontrunner according to betting odds.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are now the favorite to acquire Wilson, with DraftKings Sportsbook giving them a commanding lead at -250. The next closest contender is the Las Vegas Raiders at +550.
The shift in odds in favor of Pittsburgh came after retired NFL receiver Chad Johnson claimed he had inside information that Wilson would end up with the Steelers next season.
Wilson’s 2023-24 season with the Broncos saw him throw for 3,070 yards, 26 touchdowns, and eight interceptions in 15 games. While he was able to lead the Broncos to a 7-8 record, there are doubts about his future with the team, especially considering the significant financial commitment required to retain him beyond March 17th.
With speculation likely to continue in the coming weeks, the possibility of Wilson joining Mike Tomlin and the Steelers is becoming increasingly plausible.
