Corry suggested that Love could aim for a deal surpassing the $50,271,667 per year ($150.815 million over three years) that Aaron Rodgers received in his final contract with the Packers. Love’s productivity last season, compared to Rodgers’ performance in 2022 when the Packers missed the playoffs with an 8-9 record, supports the argument for a lucrative extension.
Indeed, a potential $50 million per season contract for Jordan Love would represent a substantial increase from his 2024 salary and would place him among the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL. Joe Burrow currently holds the top spot on the quarterback salary list with $55 million per season, a record that could be surpassed in the near future by contracts like Love’s.
