Malcolm Roach is reuniting with Sean Payton, as reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media. Roach has agreed to a two-year deal with the Broncos worth up to $8 million.
He originally signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2020 when Payton was the head coach in New Orleans. Payton is now heading into his second season as the Broncos’ head coach.
Last season, Roach recorded 38 tackles and three passes defensed. He played a total of 41 games for the Saints, accumulating 90 tackles, a sack, an interception, and four passes defensed during his time with the team.
