Breaking News: Washington Commanders Secure Deal with 26-Year-Old Veteran Wide Receiver

Reports indicate that the Washington Commanders have reached an agreement with seasoned wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus.

The 26-year-old previously played for the Philadelphia Eagles during the last season, participating in all 17 regular-season games with one start.

He managed to secure 10 receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 20 targets. Zaccheaus, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Virginia in 2019,

spent four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, notably shining in 2022 with 40 receptions for 533 yards and three touchdowns across 13 starts in 17 games.

Throughout his career, he has accumulated a total of 104 receptions, 1,492 yards, and 10 touchdowns.

Zaccheaus joins former Eagles offensive coordinator Brian Johnson, now part of the coaching staff, and backup quarterback Marcus Mariota in transitioning from Philadelphia to Washington this offseason.
