Miami Dolphins’ standout running back, Raheem Mostert, is aiming high for the 2024 NFL season after an impressive performance last year.
Fresh off a career-defining season, Mostert is raising the bar for himself, stating, “My personal goal is to be first-team All-Pro,” in a recent interview.
This ambitious target signifies both a personal benchmark and a challenge that Mostert is fully committed to achieving this season.
“It’s a goal I’m pursuing this year. I believe that if I stay healthy and we all perform at our best, we can accomplish remarkable things,” Mostert emphasized.
Originally from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Mostert has overcome obstacles to become an integral part of the Dolphins’ roster.
Despite entering his ninth NFL season, the 31-year-old displays unwavering determination and ambition.
In the upcoming season, Mostert aims to reach the significant milestone of rushing for 1,000 yards, marking a highlight in his career.
However, the success of Mostert’s journey will depend significantly on Dolphins’ coach McDaniel and his well-known strategy of utilizing multiple running backs in the backfield.
After playing for four different teams in his first two seasons, Mostert found stability with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016, leading to a six-season tenure that included a Super Bowl appearance in 2019.
Following his time with the 49ers, Mostert joined the Miami Dolphins alongside coach Mike McDaniel on a one-year contract.
This transition proved fruitful for Mostert, resulting in the two most productive seasons of his career. In 2022, he rushed for a career-high 1,012 yards and set a new Dolphins franchise record with 21 total touchdowns, surpassing Mark Clayton’s record set in 1984.
