According to a report by Houston reporter Aaron Wilson, Toronto Argonauts cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers is set to visit the AFC franchise on Monday.

Stiggers’ impressive performance in 2023 has garnered attention from several NFL teams, including the New York Jets. Additionally, reports suggest that the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, and Houston Texans have also shown interest following his Pro Day performance two weeks ago.

After leaving college in 2020, Stiggers returned to the field in 2022 with the Fan Controlled Football league, where he caught the attention of the Argonauts.

In 2023, he made an immediate impact as a starter for Toronto, earning Rookie of the Year honors. Throughout the 2023 CFL season, Stiggers appeared in 16 regular-season games, tallying 58 tackles and five interceptions.

Acquiring him would mark a significant addition for the Jets, who have been active in making notable signings this offseason.

On the defensive front, New York has secured defensive tackles Javon Kinlaw and Leki Fotu, filling the void left by Quinton Jefferson’s departure to the Cleveland Browns.
