Former Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner meets with the Minnesota Vikings as part of the pre-NFL Draft evaluation process.
Dallas Turner has completed his second pre-draft visit with an NFL team, this time meeting with the Minnesota Vikings. Previously, the former Alabama linebacker met with the Chicago Bears.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Turner is also scheduled to meet with the Cardinals, Chargers, and Falcons.
With two first-round picks at Nos. 11 and 23, the Minnesota Vikings could be eyeing Turner as the first defensive player off the board.
At the NFL Scouting Combine, Turner posted an impressive 40-yard dash time of 4.47 seconds and showcased an 83-inch wingspan. During the 2023 season, he led the Crimson Tide in tackles for loss (14.5), sacks (10), and quarterback hurries (13), contributing to Alabama’s SEC Championship victory. Turner was recognized as a Consensus All-American and served as a permanent team captain. His efforts helped Alabama reach the College Football Playoff after narrowly missing out in 2022. As the NFL Draft approaches, it remains to be seen which team will select Turner on the first night of the draft.
