Amari Cooper, the star wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, deviated from his usual social media presence to share a message ahead of the team’s upcoming offseason workouts.

In a departure from his infrequent posts, Cooper shared an image on social media, portraying him in front of his Rolls-Royce, accompanied by a somewhat enigmatic caption.

“We be on television Sundays, but in this world of propaganda you gotta watch what’s between the TV that’s U,” Cooper wrote.

Notably, Cooper has maintained a minimal presence on social media, with fewer than half a dozen Instagram posts in the past year. His account predominantly showcases his Route Runners shoe brand.

Given his substantial career earnings exceeding $116 million, Cooper’s decision to share glimpses of his personality is noteworthy.

As the Browns prepare to commence voluntary offseason workouts on Monday, April 15, Cooper’s attendance remains uncertain.

On the gridiron, Amari Cooper allows his performance to speak volumes. Since joining the Browns via a trade in 2022, he has proven to be an invaluable asset to the team. With consecutive 1,000-yard seasons under his belt and his recent fifth Pro Bowl selection, Cooper has demonstrated his worth.

Despite the challenge of catching passes from four different quarterbacks last season, Cooper remained a cornerstone of the Browns’ offense. His impressive tally of 1,250 yards on 72 receptions showcased his exceptional skill and reliability. Notably, Cooper’s standout performance occurred on Christmas Eve against the Houston Texans, where he set a franchise single-game record with 11 receptions for 265 yards.

Reflecting on his achievements, Cooper humbly remarked, “Records are meant to be broken. At the end of the day, it’s just numbers. I don’t take it for granted, but it’s the past.” He maintains a forward-looking perspective, aiming to leave a lasting legacy in his career.

In alignment with the Browns’ team ethos, Cooper exemplifies a selfless attitude and prioritizes the collective success over personal accolades, akin to Nick Chubb. While his quiet demeanor may occasionally overshadow his contributions in discussions about top pass-catchers, Cooper consistently delivers stellar performances on the field.

As Amari Cooper enters the final year of his contract with the Browns, approaching his 30th birthday in June, his performance shows no signs of decline. Over the past two seasons in Cleveland, Cooper has amassed impressive statistics, recording 150 receptions for 2,410 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Expressing interest in retaining Cooper, Browns GM Andrew Berry highlighted his Pro Bowl-caliber performance and significant locker room presence. Berry emphasized the team’s desire to keep valuable players like Cooper for as long as possible.

The recent acquisition of former first-round pick Jerry Jeudy via a trade with the Denver Broncos adds depth to the Browns’ receiving corps. Despite Jeudy’s initial struggles to meet expectations, the team remains optimistic about his potential in Cleveland. Joining forces with Cooper, whom Jeudy regards as a role model, could facilitate his development. Both having played at Alabama, Jeudy acknowledges studying Cooper’s game as part of his own growth process.
