Notre Dame Football National Championship Legend is dead

David John Pivec, a former Notre Dame football legend and tight end for the Denver Broncos, passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 80. Pivec was a key player on the 1964 Notre Dame team that won the national championship. He later played professionally in the NFL and AFL with the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos, and in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts and Ottawa Rough Riders.
